Last week was a hectic week. and do you want to know why? Cos its my birthday!!!
In the first place, i wasnt to excited abt it, cos it just reminds me that i'm NOT in my mid-20s anymore! Boo hoo... in fact just 3 yrs away from the big 3-0. Gosh! time flies so fast man...
Anyway, celebration was great! Thanks to those of u who painstakingly plan small mini-celebrations for me despite of ur hectic schedule. Thanks for those who send me wonderful messages (sms, mms, msn, etc) really appreciate it. And oh yes, janet, i've received your card. Thanks a lot! Love ya all...
Well, my hubby has planned a 3 day bday bash for me.. (he's so sweet rite?). Sat, i went for manicure/pedicure. lurve getting pampered and spoiled man... [than dinner at the zoo- company dinner lah.. it was actually a nice place, no mosquitoes so im very happy. plus i got to dressed up as a modern 'pocohontas' with brown dress and hair tied up in ponytail with 3 bird feathers as decorations... hehe. ] Sat nite, we stayed up late, watching dvds, till we slept on the couch... woke up like at abt 11am the next morning!
Then Hubby drove to Hyatt Hotel, where we had a sumptious buffet lunch at Straits Kitchen. Fantastic Food! Yum Yum! Then we walked in town, browsing through knick knacks while having such a wonderful time, blending with the crowd of mostly teenagers! made me feel so young, u know. Then we watched a move- Lucky Number Slevin. Quite a good show, though we didnt read any reviews abt it at first. we picked the movie cos it was RA (21) and we thot "oh good, no kids!" We enjoyed the movie thoroughly and i must say, josh harnett is still as cute and ever.. drool... then went to have teh tarik at our fave stall at bugis then home.
then later at abt midnight, hubby came into the room (u see i was relaxing in my airconditioned bedroom with a super comfy comforter over me, while watching another dvd- 'tristan and isolde'. and in his hand was a tub of ben and jerry's ice cream!!! Awww... what a way to celebrate my 27th hatch day with my fav ice cream served in bed!!! and u know what? on the actual day, hubby and another gd fren of ours, najib, treated me to another sinful round of chocolates galore at Max Brenner's chocolate at esplanade. splendid! i think i must have gained a few kilos this week... hehe... well, its only once a year right?
