my blog's DEAD

I need to blog more often man... this blog's dead! hahaha! Oh man, been real busy this time of the year. so much things to do, so little time, so little energy. My fav pastimes nowadays have been sleeping (whenever i can, watching tv and reading). So lazy even to check my email! What is happening to me!!! So the past few weeks have been very trying for me and here's why:

1) I fell ill - bad flu attack. Was given many days of MC - thanks to doc who understand my condition and being pregnant means i need more rest! Eventhough the medication given is baby-safe, but i thought i would do better with a lot of rest and only took the medication at night, instead of trice a day as prescribed. and it works! I feel so much better now!

2) I got through my INTERVIEW!!! It was a nerve-wrecking experience, with a lot of mock-up interviews prior to that, having grilled with so many overbearing questions abt policies, leadership qualities, contributions to organisation, etc.. Thank goodness it is all over! Now i can look forward to the yearly allowances end of the year! Not sure how much though... but i am sure it will be more worth it than doing the job for free all these years! And promotions coming up too!!! Wippeee!!! Double promo! Double happiness.. think it's baby luck?!!! i think so too...

Hmm, since we are in this topic, i know that there'll be more work for me next year... but i wanna think that I am doing this all for my family, you know... especilly for the lil one in me. Better pay, better future prospects - not only for myself. I guess I've always had that "drive" in me, take every opportunity that's available, you know... cos these opportunities might never come again...

3) Appraisal - Dunno why, but i dread end of the year appraisal - what have i done? contributions? results? etc etc... blah blah blah...

4) Hunger pangs at night - I am always hungry in the middle of the night! So i'll wake hubby up, go to kitchen to get biscuits with Milo or something, eat while watching some TV and go right back to sleep! i am so scared I'll gain weight fast! Oh no!!!

5) Can't fit into my pants! - yes, i give up! can't fit into most of my pants. depressing... every morning now, i am posed by this question: What to wear? Lucky i have abt 4 pairs of drawstring and stretchable pants... need maternity pants . need to go shopping... argh!

ok ok.. can't think of anymore to write for now... need to watch TV... Prison Break is coming up.. I just lurve the show! Well, i think I just lurve Wentworth Miller! he's so cute! Heh:)

New toy!!!

New Toy for my "Baby"!!!

Hubby surprised me today. He fetched me from Mom's place in the morning as usual, then at the carpark, he suddenly gave me a kiss and said that he loves me... hmm... so sweet right? Then out of a nowhere, a gigantic Toys R Us plastic bag appeared! A toy? He was smiling, no, he was grinning from ear to ear. I swear I could count all his teeth during that moment. All I could do was laugh with him...

He bought a Transformers robot, not any Transformers robot, but the Cybertron Primus! Helloe? Am i missing anything here? Didnt ask him for the price, but i think it's surely $100+++ cos the robot is huge! And if you notice, there is a label: Age 5+, well, its more like 5+25 for me!

Hehehe... My husband, my "Baby", a child at heart too.... I've come to understand him completely... Don't ever mess with his Liverpool & Transformers stuff... I don't mind really, as long as he doesnt grumble about how much I spend everytime @ my hairdresser's, or spas, or mani/pedi, etc.... Hmm... I wonder what's next?

I've been @ home this whole week. Yup, my gynae gave me a week's of medical leave due to blood spottings. Told me to really take it easy and REST! No physical activity! and that includes, climbing stairs, lifting heavy things, etc. Well, ain't all that part of my daily work? Gosh... must think of some ways to aviod all those huh... It was kinda scary at first when i saw the BLOOD, i mean its like when u menstruate u know... luckily doc didnt see anything harmful and the baby is fine (Thank Goodness) So this whole week been really a fruitful week for me, read a lot, watch TV - I'm hooked to Hallmark's The Nanny!!!, tried not to do too many housework as hubby 'volunteered' for them. He's excited too you know, my hubby, although he manages to stay calm and composed throughout the time. I love it when he put his hands on my tummy at night.. heh:)
Eventhough the GP told me that i was about 7 weeks pregnant, but when i checked with my gynae, he told me that I was about 6weeks. Whatever it is, I want to be healthy. Must eat healthily now. cannot skip meals. Had my first craving - banana fritters! Ask my sweet hubby to but bananas and i made really sweet banana fritters last nite and ate them while watching CSI. i still have the leftover batter in my fridge...
