visited the gynae today. can't believe that i'm into my 2nd trimester now... fast huh? doc gave me some multi-vits to increase to appetite too... i need that badly. cos really, i dun eat well now. little rice and absolutely no chicken or 'smelly' food for me - includes all the yummy fried stuff, all fast food, no going to Banquet, no fav chicken rice or even fish slice soup! Its been sandwiches, biscuits, bagels for me... hmm... quite fat free diet i think, like 'ang moh' diet, ppl call it.. hehe.. except for the occasional cravings of pisang goreng / banana fritters... and i actually lost weight! oh my.. was quite worried but doc said its normal, i should regain my appetite real soon... oh man, can't wait....

anyway, did the scan, as usual. Goodness, the lil' one has grown! Heart beating so fast, can see the head, hands and legs all... i almost cried!!! very emotional period for me... hubbby was there too, he was so amazed! Also, the lil' one moved the hands, as though waving, at us, the parents! maybe that's why I havent been able to sleep well at nite nowadays... maybe he/she is active at nite? Hmm.... wah... so exciting man.... next appt is on 8 jan and 31st jan... and oh yes, we are so amazed by the excellent and prompt service at the private suite, we have chosen the premier package u see, and all subsequent check-ups will be done at the private suite, and all scanning will be done by my gynae,... appt was at 1050am, was there by 1030 to do routine checks (urine test, blood pressure, weight) and the nurse called me in at exactly 1050am! I was done by 1110am! Very fast! Short waiting time... so much diff from the specialist clinic. and the best part, no need to go to the pharmacy to collect the prescriptions, cos it's all done there as well! the presciption comes to you! Of course, must pay more lah for all these services, but i think it's worth it... can't wait for next visit!

Well, tomrw I'm off to KL for a mini shopping trip, have booked a nice 5* hotel with big bath tub.. hehe... till then...
